Aisling Bea
Aisling is a popular Irish comedian that has been in the business for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland, on 16th March 1984. The comedian has been on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), also known as Aisling bea Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan, is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Bea was first able to make a name for herself with stand-up comedy in the year 2011, after playing a few small roles she played in Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. In 2012, she began to regularly appear on sketches and sitcoms. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel shows. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is a popular contestant of the sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was in 2012 the second female to receive the So You Believe you're Funny award. Bea is her maiden name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on March 16, 1984 in Kildare Town in County Kildare. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died at the age of three. Bea was only three years old. She wasn't told about the cause of his death until she turned 13 years old. Bea chose to stage her name Bea in honor of her father who passed away. Bea also wrote a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up in a home by Helen Moloney, a educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. They were obsessed with race meetings as well as horses. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry wasn't the right fit for her.
